Beatriu de Pinós Program (BP)
The Beatriu de Pinós (BP) program aims to attract postdoctoral research talent.
The Beatriu de Pinós calls are designed to provide individual grants for the recruitment and integration of postdoctoral researchers into the Catalan science and technology system.
Researchers are free to choose their research project in any thematic field.
The mission of the BP program is to support the professional development of researchers through three main dimensions:

Leadership

Independence
-
Consolidation
In addition, the program promotes:

International mobility

Multidisciplinary and intersectoral collaboration

Training in transversal skills
The program was launched in 2005 and includes a single modality:
Beatriu de Pinós (BP)

Aimed at researchers with less than eight years of postdoctoral experience
-
Three-year contracts
-
Open to all research fields
Department of Research and Universities

The Government of Catalonia finances 100% of the employment costs
-
Open call with international selection criteria
Beatriu de Pinós – Catalunya Talent Bridge
This program follows the same structure as the BP call but is aimed at researchers currently working in the United States.

Selected candidates may receive additional financial support in the form of a welcome package with discretionary funds
-
These funds will be transferred to the host institution where the applicant is affiliated (university or CERCA center)
