Welcome Package for Senior Researchers
The Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya · BarcelonaTech (UPC) offers a competitive Welcome Package designed to attract and support world-class senior researchers joining the university through international excellence programs.
Who is elegible
This Welcome Package is aimed at senior researchers (R4) who have been awarded one of the following competitive excellence grants:
— European Research Council (ERC)
— ICREA Senior
— ATRAE Programme (AEI)
What are the benefits
We offer comprehensive support to senior researchers joining UPC, combining funding, doctoral talent, and administrative resources to foster research excellence from the outset.
Start-Up Research Funding
To finance expenses related to research activities, including equipment and operational costs.
A PhD Student Support
Coverage of the total contracting costs of a predoctoral researcher
Administrative Support
Part-time administrative assistance (50%) to support project management.
