The UPC is actively strengthening its commitment to the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) through a series of interconnected initiatives.


Transversal Integration

Leveraging our newly updated institutional guidelines and Statutes, we are embedding the HRS4R framework as a universal, cross-cutting principle across all of UPC; a core element of our entire university culture.

Reinforced Governance

A consolidated structure led by the UPC Human Resources Area, combining top-level steering, operational working groups, and a brand-new external Advisory Committee to guarantee objective quality assurance.

GAP Analysis

A comprehensive internal diagnostic process mapped strictly against the new European Charter for Researchers. These up-to-date benchmarks will drive a targeted transversal Action Plan throughout 2026.

Digital Transparency

Launching a brand-new dedicated domain (hrs4r.upc.edu) to centralize all OTM-R policies, data, and open recruitment processes, making our compliance fully accessible worldwide.
