Highlighting Women’s Talent in Science
The Ranking of Spanish Women Researchers, created by the CSIC’s Cybermetrics Lab, aims to increase the visibility of women’s contributions to science and promote open science. The ranking is based on public data from Google Scholar, a specialized search engine for scientific literature.
Researchers are ranked primarily by their h-index (a metric that considers both the number of published papers and their citations) and secondarily by the total number of citations received.
To be included in this edition of the ranking, researchers must have an ORCID identifier linked to their Google Scholar profile and an h-index of at least 14.
