Talent Recruitment Unit (UCT)

The Talent Recruitment Unit (UCT) is part of the UPC's Personnel Service. It supports the planning, organization, and execution of actions aimed at attracting, recruiting, and retaining research talent in alignment with UPC's strategic directions.

Functions

• We inform, advise, and assist researchers in finding funding opportunities to support their research careers.
• We promote and manage recruitment calls for training and postdoctoral research staff from public and private organizations, both nationally and internationally.
• We plan, design, and manage UPC’s own calls for funding the recruitment of research staff.
• We conduct the selection processes for research personnel (PR) and research support staff (PSR).
• We monitor the management and execution of recruitment grants and provide support for audits and justifications.
• We support decision-making in policies related to research personnel recruitment and research career development at UPC.
