Ramón y Cajal 2025

Objectiu

L'objecte de la convocatòria Ramon i Cajal és promoure la incorporació a organismes de recerca de personal investigador, tant espanyol com estranger, amb una trajectòria destacada per tal que adquireixin les competències i capacitats que els permetin obtenir un lloc de caràcter estable en un organisme de recerca.

Requisits generals 

• Haver obtingut el títol de doctor entre 01/01/2015 i 31/12/2023 (s'entén com a data d'obtenció del doctorat la data de lectura i aprovació de la tesi)

Durada ajut

• Els ajuts concedits tenen una durada de 5 anys. 

Característiques 

• Màxim 100 hores per any de docència. 

Atracció de talent

• Dintre dels ajuts del torn general, es reserven 80 ajuts específics dirigits a incentivar la incorporació d'investigadors i investigadores que estiguin desenvolupant la seva activitat professional a l'estranger (haver tingut ininterrompudament un vincle professional en  la seva etapa postdoctoral amb organismes de recerca estrangers des de, almenys, l'1 de gener de 2023 i fins a la data d'inici del termini de presentació de sol·licituds).
  En el cas de persones que hagin estat vinculades a més d'un organisme de recerca estranger, es permetrà que hi hagi hagut períodes sense vinculació entre els diferents organismes, amb un total màxim acumulat de 90 dies o 3 mesos consecutius, dins del període citat al paràgraf anterior.
  En cas de concessió de l'ajut d'atracció de talent, la dotació addicional de 50.000€ de l'investigador es veurà incrementada en 50.000€ resultant un total de  100.000€

• Els ajuts concedits se sotmeten al règim fiscal vigent en el moment del seu atorgament.

Presentació sol·licituds

Del 19/11/2025 al 11/12/2025, ambdós inclosos fins, a les 14:00 hores (hora peninsular espanyola).

 La presentació de la sol·licitud s'haurà de realitzar, de forma independent pels investigadors i els Centres I+D, a través de les aplicacions telemàtiques habilitades per a cadascú, a la web del Ministeri.

Sol·licituds dels Centres I+D:

• El representant legal omplirà el formulari electrònic de sol·licitud, el validarà i enviarà telemàticament la sol·licitud mitjançant signatura electrònica.

• Les sol·licituds dels investigadors seran presentades mitjançant el formulari electrònic de sol·licitud que es pot trobar al web de la convocatòria.

Objective

The purpose of the Ramon y Cajal call is to promote the incorporation of researchers, both Spanish and foreign, into research institutions, who have an outstanding track record, so that they may acquire the skills and competencies that will enable them to obtain a permanent position within a research organization.

General Requirements

Applicants must have obtained their PhD degree between 01/01/2015 and 31/12/2023 (the date of obtaining the PhD is understood to be the date of defense and approval of the thesis).

Duration of the Grant

The grants awarded will have a duration of 5 years.

Characteristics

A maximum of 100 teaching hours per year.

Talent Attraction

Within the general call, 80 specific grants are reserved to encourage the incorporation of researchers currently developing their professional activity abroad (having had an uninterrupted professional relationship in their postdoctoral stage with foreign research institutions from at least January 1, 2023, until the start date of the application submission period).

In the case of applicants who have been affiliated with more than one foreign research institution, periods without affiliation between institutions will be allowed, provided that these do not exceed a total of 90 days or three consecutive months within the period mentioned above.

If the applicant is awarded a Talent Attraction grant, the researcher’s additional allocation of €50,000 will be increased by €50,000, resulting in a total of €100,000.

The grants awarded are subject to the tax regulations in force at the time of their granting.

Application Submission

From 19/11/2025 to 11/12/2025, both dates inclusive, until 2:00 p.m. (Spanish peninsular time).

Applications must be submitted independently by both the researchers and the R&D Centers through the respective online platforms enabled for each party on the Ministry’s website.

Applications from R&D Centers:

The legal representative will complete the electronic application form, validate it, and submit it online using an electronic signature.

Applications from Researchers:

Researchers’ applications must be submitted through the electronic application form available on the call’s website.
